Our Campus and Facilities
Set close to the banks of the River Derwent, Fahan's sprawling 6.2 hectare campus is a landscape of inspiration. More than just a school, it is a living classroom where learning, play, and nature intersect.
Our grounds, reminiscent of an historic botanic garden, are home to towering trees, quiet groves, bubbling creeks and open spaces that spark exploration and joy - an environment that must be seen to be believed.
A Campus Like No Other

Where Learning Meets Nature
Light-filled spaces, classrooms, studios and labs are seamlessly integrated with the outdoors, encouraging girls to engage with their environment at every turn.
Our beautiful grounds - reminiscent of an historic botanic garden - are home to towering trees, quiet groves, bubbling creeks and open spaces that spark curiosity, exploration and joy.

Spaces Built for Every Passion
The Junior School offers considered spaces that nurture enquiry, creativity and collaboration. Science labs for Chemistry, Biology and Physics sit alongside digital technology spaces equipped with robotics, 3D printing and multimedia - providing a strong foundation for innovation.
Our Art studios and Music School, complete with rehearsal rooms, performance spaces and recording facilities, allow students to deepen their passion for the Arts.

Sport, Sustainability and Hands-On Learning
Across all year levels, sustainability and hands-on learning are central to the Fahan experience. Our sports facilities include an onsite gym, multi-sport courts and a full-sized oval, with rowing and sailing programs that further encourage teamwork and healthy, active lives.
Our Food Technology Hub is a contemporary commercial kitchen with integrated teaching facilities, designed for use by students from Kindergarten through to Year 12.

Two Libraries, One Love of Reading
Fahan is home to two libraries - the Travers Morphett Junior Library and the Senior Library. Both are welcoming spaces stocked with an extensive range of fiction, non-fiction and picture books, staffed by specialist teacher librarians, with dedicated study and reading areas that encourage girls to explore ideas and develop a genuine love of reading.
Our libraries are committed to fostering information literacy and a lifelong love of learning, working alongside teaching staff to support students across every year level.

Heart of the Community
Central to campus life is the Travers Morphett Hall - a space for assemblies, performances and gatherings where the whole Fahan community comes together in shared experience and celebration.
It is a place that reflects the warmth, connection and spirit that defines life at Fahan.

One Campus, Every Stage
The single campus advantage means our youngest through to our oldest students learn together in one caring community. From the Early Learning Centre through to the Senior School, it is only a short walk between year levels - fostering connection, familiarity and a genuine sense of belonging.
Relationships grow naturally across year levels, and the friendships formed here often last a lifetime.
