The Fahan School Team followed up their admirable performance in the Southern SATIS Athletics Carnival with another commendable result in the SATIS (State) Carnival on Saturday 18 October at the Domain Athletics Centre Hobart.

After 20 years of service to Fahan School, Les Short has announced his retirement. Les joined Fahan in December 1994, retiring earlier this year after working as a bus driver and groundsman with the School.

On 29 May, an excited group of eight Year 9 girls and the tour leader, Matt Conolan, Mr Gooley, his wife, Geraldine and their daughter, Amy, met at Hobart airport for the Lumina 9 Timor Leste trip.
