Our Year 6 girls recently enjoyed an intrepid mountain biking experience at Meehan Range where they built up their skills and confidence on the bikes. The muddy puddles and berms of the track meant the girls kept a sharp focus with plenty of clean trail finishes.
The bush setting was a perfect opportunity to learn new skills and practice their teamwork and leadership skills as they pitched tents and enjoyed a warm hot chocolate after brewing their drinks using Trangia stoves.
These skills are important to have in preparation for their future outdoor education experiences at Fahan.
