Chris completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Print media from UTAS before working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director for a Number of years. During this time he began running kitemaking and design workshops in schools which led him to Completing a Bachelor of teaching In 2005. He worked at friends School for 17 years as a Design and Digital Technologies teacher before moving to Fahan. Chris is passionate about combining physical and digital technologies in new ways, and loves designing and building surfboards in his spare time.
As a keen follower of Gary Stager and his approach to education Chris is guided by the idea that "Teaching children that they are empowered to create amazing lives for themselves will help them create amazing lives for themselves."
