Last night, the Years 9/10 elective class, Ignite, shared their fantastic range of projects with their families and friends. Highlights included a collection of edgy short story fiction, a large-scale artwork, an Etsy store selling a range of handcrafted goods such as bracelets, scrunchies, and masks, a research project into crop production of animal feed, a cookbook plus food blog, a marketing and development plan for a range of bespoke jewellery, a video clip for a song, and a book on Collingwood and its players' profiles in the 2023 final.
This program not only allows students to explore unique interests beyond the standard curriculum but also builds skills in time management, organisation, community engagement, and responding to feedback. The evening highlighted the students' creativity and innovation, leaving all attendees inspired.
