Each year, the Fahan School Parents & Friends Association holds a major fundraising raffle and, over the years, they have given out some wonderful prizes.
This year, ticket holders will have the chance to win $2500 worth of school fees.
According to P&F President, Carl Cazaly, the raffle prize couldn’t come at a better time. “Finances are tight at the moment, with many families feeling the pinch.”
Tickets are $45 each and available until Monday 20 August from the Fahan School Office and the Clothing Shop, as well as at functions organised by the P&F.
The raffle is open to past, current and future parents, family members, staff and friends of the Fahan community.
“If the winner does not have a child currently in Fahan School, the prize can be gifted to a family member or friend,” said Carl. “In fact, we’ve had a couple of people buy tickets as presents, which is a really lovely idea.”
However, with only 250 tickets available, people better get in quick before they run out.
“We wanted to give people the best opportunity to win and felt that limiting the number of tickets sold achieved that goal,” said Carl.
